What is WizCon?
WizCon is a celebration of all things magical. It has been created by film fans, for film fans. We will be bringing some of the actors from a wide range of films so attendees can meet them, along with Q&A sessions, fun and games from the wizarding world and more!
Where and when is it being held?
WizCon is taking place at The Cresset, Rightwell, Bretton, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE3 8DX on Sunday 24th March 2019. The doors open at 12pm and close at 7pm.
How much are tickets and where can I buy them?
General admission tickets are priced at £15 per person, with a limited number of 4pm entry tickets available for £10. Registered carers can purchase reduced price tickets directly at The Cresset Box Office. Children aged 5 and under are free and do not require a ticket.

Click here to purchase your tickets online, or you can visit The Cresset Box Office in person. To book over the phone, call 01733 265705.
What does my entry ticket get me?
Your ticket gains you entry into WizCon, and grants you access to the whole show during the times shown on your ticket.

Your ticket includes:
• Admission to the venue
• All Panel talks
• All Stage content
• All merchandise retailers
• The opportunity to meet the special guests stars (autographs and photographs do incur additional costs and pre-booking meet & greet tickets is strongly recommended to guarantee your slot as spaces are limited)
Do I have to book my tickets in advance of the event?
To avoid disappointment, we recommend you book your tickets in advance. It is expected that tickets will sell out prior to the event day, and once sold, no more tickets will become available.
How are my tickets delivered?
Tickets for this event will be posted to you, or if you prefer, you can collect them in person in advance or on the day. To avoid delays entering the event, we do recommend collecting your tickets before the event day though.
I haven't received my tickets yet. What do I do?
If you chose to have your tickets posted to you and they haven't arrived within seven days of the event, please call The Cresset Box Office on 01733 265705 and they will be happy to help.
If the website says that tickets are sold out, can I pay on the door?
To ensure the safety of all guests and that we stay within the venue capacity, once all tickets are sold, no more will become available.
Can I bring merchandise to be autographed?
You can indeed. Please be aware that you may be charged per autograph on each item.
I didn't bring anything for the guest to sign. What can I do?
Each special guest will have a selection of photographic prints available for you to choose from. The price of the autograph includes a print of your choice.
Can I book autographs in advance?
Due to the limited availability of signing times during the event, this is highly recommended. Tickets can be purchased in the same way that entry tickets are.
How much is a photograph?
Photograph prices are listed on the meet and greet section of our website. Click here to visit the page.
Can I take a selfie with my favourite special guest?
Unfortunately, due to the amount of attendees wishing to meet the special guests, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to take a selfie with your chosen guest.
Will there be food and drink available?
The Cresset will have a selection of food and drink available throughout the event. There is also a pub next to the building which offers cooked food and drink all day.
Are there cash point facilities on-site?
The nearest cash points are a short walk from The Cresset and are located at the petrol station and Sainsburys.
Is re-entry allowed?
You will be given an entry wristband when you arrive. Please display it clearly at all times. You will be able to leave the venue and re-enter at any time during the event hours as long as you are wearing it.
My wristband is broken, what do I do?
Should you break your wristband, please retain the broken one so we can issue you a new one. Without this we cannot allow you to re-enter the event, even if you still have your ticket.
How do I enter the cosplay contest?
Upon your arrival, please make your way to the cosplay sign-in desk in the main hall. We will take your details and then you just need to be at the main stage when the cosplay contest begins at 2pm. Please ensure your entry wristband is clearly visible over your costume at all times.
Who will be exhibiting?
We hope to have a wide selection of exhibitors available at the event, selling everything from homemade craft items to the latest official merchandise.
Will the exhibitor stalls take debit/credit cards?
Some exhibitors may take debit/credit cards, but this is not guaranteed. With this in mind, we recommend that you bring cash with you. No exceptions to this will be made.
I have shop that sells Harry Potter merchandise, how can I exhibit?
Send us an email by clicking here, telling us the type of items you will be looking to sell and we will reply with exhibitor information.
Is there car parking available?
The Cresset has free car parking spaces available and a large overflow area should the main car park fill up. There will be stewards available to direct you on the day.
